FILTER OFFICE TOWER, UAE

Volumetric study for an office tower in Dubai, UAE. The internal form is sculptured to create expansions or contractions within the exterior envelope to provide a natural ventilation device and an volumetric icon to the city. The envelope acts as a filter mesh inspired by the traditional Arabic patterns.

The building internal shape results from a metamorphosis of the ground and its mineral substances: "urban emergence".
