The Palm Jebel Ali

The conceptual approach of the project is based on a reinterpretation of the palm tree and the natural components of the site. Hence, the main objective of the project is to give the impression that the building takes root from these components instead of simply being a deposited object on the banks of the Jebel Ali Palm.

The project is based on the four elements found on the natural site.

• Water : An undulating surface, a shimmering texture reflecting the sun, a livid turquoise color
• Air : A saline breeze, a constant wind sculpting objects(eroding, polishing, abrasion or corrosion of surfaces)
• Earth : Sand and minerals, the ever changing topography of the beach, the desert
• Sun : Light and fire
