Maskoutain Space, Saint-Hyacinthe
The most particular approach to this project s represented by the construction of a great arch over a park. The arch spans the park without interfering with the spaces functionality, thus preserving its coherence.
The arch, designed in collaboration with the engineer Janos Baracs, is e delicate pin—connected truss that is also maintained under tension. t is braced by anchor wires connected to twelve concrete blocks that punctuate the parks landscape.
